In search of St Patrick and his archaeological legacy

This lecture by Brian Sloan from the Centre for Archaeological Feildwork at Queen's Universoty Belfast, will focus on the results of the recent community excavations on Cathedral Hill, Downpatrick, during summer 2018.The excavations uncovered a range of artefacts dating from early Christian times to the medieval period. This lecture will detail the nature of the finds and the light they cast on the legacy of the Early Christian period in Down.
